Exhibit 24.3 LinkedIn Company Pages — University of Oxford (About page) and The Walt
Disney Company (Life page).
The LinkedIn Company Page (Exhibit 24.3) provides organizations
“a trusted, employee-only space to help them join the conversations that matter most” (LinkedIn) and keep
them connected to each other.
The page gives organizations a platform to reach out to an audience on LinkedIn. Members of the
network can discover and connect with these organizations, learn about their products and services, and seek
career opportunities.
As can be seen from Exhibit 24.3, a company page comprises a set of tabs such as
Home, About, Posts, Jobs, Life, People, Alumni, Events, Showcase and Videos.
The life or career tab serves to provide a view into the company’s culture with employee-centric
content, and the people tab lists the employees.
Showcase Pages are extensions of the Company Page to spotlighting a brand, business unit, or
initiative. They allow organizations to create pages with relevant content for different aspects of their
business.
Organizations can promote their Company and Showcase Pages by linking through “Follow”
buttons from emails, newsletters, blogs, and other marketing channels. Similarly, individuals too can promote
their profile pages.
