To write a LinkedIn article, users can click the “Write article” link (as shown in Exhibit 24.5), which takes them to LinkedIn Publishing, as displayed in Exhibit 24.8.
The LinkedIn Publishing interface offers more options than the post interface, including basic editing, the ability to add a headline, and the insertion of images, videos, slides, links, or snippets at the start of each paragraph.
Unlike posts, which can quickly get buried by the constant stream of incoming content, LinkedIn articles are more durable and remain on the author’s profile until they choose to delete them. They are similar to blogs in this regard.
