While Instagram’s development has expanded well beyond the
iPhone, there remain some significant limitations for its use on desktops.
The desktop version only allows users to post images and videos to their profile
whereas on mobile, the create (+) button permits users to share Reels, Stories and guides, as well
as posts.
Photo editing works differently on desktop. Only the mobile app allows for
instantly enhance photos.
Users can create their avatar only on Instagram for mobile. Video calling too is
limited to mobile, and so is shopping on Instagram.
