Bubble Drawings

Participants are invited to fill speech and thought into “bubbles” on a cartoon showing an imaginary situation relevant to the research. For example:

Bubble drawings - In qualitative research, bubble drawings enable participants to project their thoughts and emotions into bubbles on a cartoon.

By projecting their thoughts and emotions in this manner, participants feel comfortable to express views that they feel may not be politically, socially or intellectually correct.
